Finalmente, las nominaciones al Oscar 2020 llegaron. John Cho y Issa Rae fueron los responsables de anunciar a todos los nominados para la 92ª edición de los premios Premios de la Academia, JOKER llevándose así la mayor cantidad de nominaciones con 11. Los premios se llevarán a cabo el domingo, 9 de febrero de 2020 en el Dolby Theater en Hollywood y será transmitido a las 8:00pm por ABC. Este será el segundo año consecutivo en el cual no contaran con un anfitrión.
